Painted Sky- A timber frame family home

“… the finished product is so perfect for us we can’t fathom ever needing another house.”

This timber frame family home sits on small acreage, yet is within a short bike ride to downtown Fort Collins. This one checks all the boxes: open floor plan, a covered patio for outdoor living and entertaining, and plenty of space to spread out.  The house was designed around the family’s daily routine, and is adaptable as their needs shift.  A robust envelope and efficient, dual-fuel HVAC system means low operating costs throughout the home’s lifespan.  Elevated also designed and provided a Core and Shell package for the Gear Barn at the back of the property.  This accessory building is fully timber framed with a radiant-heated floor, and aesthetically compliments the main house for a cohesive family compound.
